Summary
This is a ground floor opportunity to be one of the early team members at hotglue and shape our trajectory. You will experience what being at a scrappy startup is like. What you'll be doing described below one-day could look radically different the next. You will be empowered to identify opportunities that will help us grow and own it.
- Become an expert in hotglue and help our clients and potential clients utilize hotglue to its full potential
- Be the first point of contact for when our customers encounter roadblocks
- Have autonomy to identify, conceptualize, and launch new initiatives to support our clients
The Ideal Candidate
- Foundational knowledge of modern programming languages like Python or JavaScript/Node.js
- Understanding of how REST APIs work and how to make API calls using tools like Postman
- Enjoys speaking with and helping customers, whether it be via written communication or calls
- Strong written communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts to engineers and non-engineers alike
- Ability to improvise and develop creative solutions when common approaches fail. Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism
- (Bonus) Can write and understand Python code to help our customers debug issues
